Until the End of Time..: The week that Was..

Au revoir! This goes out to my classmate Edmund Hong Hueii Yik, known as "The Pro' among us and among his old school friends, Kemek (meaning flattened) who left to Australia to pursue his studies there to become a civil engineer since its not offered here in Monash Malaysia. Well before he left he invited a few of us for a lunch treat on Tuesday in Chilli's, Mid Valley. Yes, no typo-graphical error. Chill's. I mean who would have turned this down except for Desmond. Haha. Yea, so 10 of us all went for the wonderful lunch at 12 since that was the only time suited for all of us and James who's lunch break was that time. And as usual ,Kingston the man came the latest. Again i say, Edmund, all the best there and keep in touch dude!

On Thursday, met up with half of the S2 gang comprising Shen Wei, Daniel, Shaun, Sinye and Pey Li for lunch again. This time its in 1-Utama and unfortunately its not Chilli's. Haha. It was at Dave's. Enjoyed the fettucinni i ordered and the best of all its half-priced! Well during weekdays, the pastas served are only at half-price. Cheapskate u may call it but what the heck! After lunch, this was the moment. TRANSFORMERS!! This highly anticipated movie was damn good. Out of 10 i would give it a solid 9.5. But sadly Sinye and Pey Li wasn't that impressed. After the show, i was like saying ' damn good damn good' and they were like ' Nice meh?'. I guess girls will always be girls after all.

Friday. Yes another day to be excited about cause i went to the the new Monash Campus for Buddy's Training. Words cant describe when i took a personal tour around the campus. McDonald's, San Fransisco, big labs, the 3-storey library, new pool tables in MUSA etc etc. I can proudly say i was one of the fellas to be the first to try out the pool table. Buddy's Training was fun. Our speaker, Suresh was the man of the day. His character-building talk was very inspiring and the fun-filled activities were fun. Took another tour around the campus, this time with Edwina and later collected our t-shirts to be worn during the orientation this Monday. But the most funny thing that day was Kingston. Where the heck was he? Haha. The night before he called me up to confirm the time for the training and everything looked promising. Came friday. he called Melvin stating that he was on the way and its SUPER-JAM. Btw, havent i told u people that 'on the way' and 'super-jam' was Kingston's favourite word if he wants to FFK (fong fei kei). True enough, he did FFK. Sighh.....

Yesterday, woke up damn early as usual to do the house-hold chores just as my parents left for work at 7. By the time i finished i went out to buy lunch for my family at a nearby restaurant near my place.Ok, here's the interesting part. Was lining up to buy cha-kueh and in front of me was white lady. All of a sudden this man out of nowhere appeared and started complaining in cantonese about the ba-chang (the triangle kueh wrapped with pandan leaves) he bought from the seller. Following was the conversation ensued;

Chinese Man: *cantonese*
White Lady: Excuse me, can u please have this conversation later after i buy my pau?
Chinese Man: U want to buy u buy la!
White Lady: Oh my, how rude of u. For your information u jumped the Q and started delaying things everyone here
Chinese Man: Eh, i'm just complaining ok. If ure not satisfied u can go back to your country!U dun belong here.
White Lady: See, i knew that was coming. Typical Malaysian!
Chinese Man: Aiya, lei sei hoi la!

I was flabbergasted. I didn't expect this man to scold her like that. I mean he was at fault and has no right to scold a tourist to go back to her country. But what to do. Some people are just so stupid and uneducated.Anyways enough said, that was one hell of an incident yesterday.

Moving over to sports, Man Utd has finally landed Carlos Tevez!Woooooot. Not boasting about anything but i think the Premiership will be Man Utd's again next season with Nani, Anderson and Owen Hargreaves just signed.
